Opening a bank account in Montenegro for non-residents

One of the frequently asked questions coming from foreign buyers, is how to open a bank account in Montenegro?
This procedure is changing from time to time and depends on the bank, but here is some general information.
In order to open a bank account as a non-resident, the banks will ask you to provide them with a valid personal document (ID or passport) and a residential or work permit.
Once these documents are submitted, the bank will process your application and get back to you with the answer within a given deadline.
